Wedding at Cana

 

Jesus, was invited to a wedding at Cana along with is disciples and Mary, his mother. After a while the wine ran out. Mary saw what had happened and told Jesus. Jesus said "What does that have to do with me?" Jesus knew His time had not yet come to show the world who He was. Mary said to the servants "Whatever he tells you to do ,then do it."

But you have kept the best wine till last. The master did not know were it had come from, only the servants knew. Jesus had changed the water into wine. This was the first miracle He performed and it showed people who He was. He was the Son of Sod, who had created this world and had power to do the impossible.

 

At the side of the room were six large stone water pots. Jesus told the servants to fill the pots with water. The servants filled them right to the top. Then Jesus told them to take some of the water out in a cup and give it to the Master of the feast.

The Master of the house drank it and was amazed. He called the bridegroom over. And said to him "Every person gives the guests the best wine first, then after they've drunk a lot gives them the poor wine.
