About the event

The story of the Bible is almost as remarkable and dramatic as the Bible story itself. The process of getting the Word of God first written down some 3,500 years ago, translating it from one language to another, and resulting in sales of around 7,000,000,000, - yes, 7 billion! - since the printing press was invented, involves intrigue, cloak and dagger, kidnapping, murder and much, much more.

Learn about the people God used and those who opposed them. Find out about the world’s biggest Bible and the oldest ones, not to mention the single page of a Bible that is probably worth in excess of $100,000.

There will be a display of copies of fascinating historical documents, a selection of very old Bibles and an accompanying book will be available for sale.

The seminar will be presented by John Brand, Principal of Edinburgh Bible College, and who has been involved…
