THE TABERNACLE

The Tabernacle means “tent,” “place of dwelling” or “sanctuary.” It was a place where God chose to meet His people. The instruction on how to build the tabernacle and all the different items inside it was given by God to Moses. This was a picture of God’s presence with His people, how they must approach Him and of the redeeming work of God.
